No air leaks on inlet side?

Is that the only code showing up? My car which has the same engine was showing that code and one for the rear o2 sensor, changed it and deleted the code and it never came back

Although the 02 sensors might look ok, they can Fail internally

is the lamda sensor switching? id check for air leaks around throttle body and any pipes leading to inlet manifold.

Checked all pipes on inlet side nothink being sucked back in ? how can i test the lamber sensor or what am i looking for on the opcom ?

Look for all the codes that show up, then post them in here so people can get a better idea of the problem

£5 says you have a cracked or leaking exhaust manifold, which is sucking O2 in.

Youve just answered your own question, change the mani then delete the codes, no good deleting the codes if you havent fixed the problem

ok just checked codes and i have :
p0170 (2) lean exhaust
p0303 (1) cyl 3 miss fire
p0302 (1) cyl 2 miss fire
p0325 (8) Knock sensor 1 circit no signal
p0500 (8) vechicle speed sensor malfunction
p0443 (4) evaporated emissions control purge open circut

these 2 are when i disconected plugs to clean it

p0100 (2) mass air flow circit low input
p0110 (1) intake air temp hi input

so your guess is better than mine lol

ill change the mani that will clear p0170, but what are the rest of them?????

personally i would say all due to the air leak from the manifold but p0302 and p0303 could be coil pack if it stays after but like everyone else says do the manifold first youll be amazed how one fault can flick up so many codes lol

brand new coil pack had no fault codes stored prior to fitting new pack and non stored after was fitted either

Lots of error codes normally indicates a bad earth or connection somewhere.
