No they are both big block 8v cams, you'd be best with an nv062 for the e16se (coincidentally I have one for sale lol )

No. They are talking about Vauxhall Astra/Cavalier, and Opel Kadette/Vectra. Same cars, but old Family 2 1.6S engines, not the later E/C1.6SE/SV engine.

Firstly - what are you trying to achieve?

Before fitting a cam, you need a flowed cylinder head. It's a logical progression. Improved internals (balanced, lightened where possible/necessary), gas flowed cylinder head (Blydenstein B or B+ type now rare as rocking horse dung since Bill passed away some years back), then a hotter cam - OR a change of induction system - throttle bodies, or twin carbs.

A cam on it's own may make stuff all difference. It will move your torque curve further up the revs and you'll lose low end driveability for the sake of five or six more horsepower at the top end. In reality, to gain greater acceleration you need more torque lower down/in the mid-range. For greater top speed, you need more power at the top end. To make use of greater power at the top end, you need closer ratios and more of them (why F1 cars have 7-speed gearboxes).

IF you are dead set on wasting your money on a cam alone, then the Kent NV063 is probably as big as you will want - if you go for a NV063K you get a full kit with springs, rockers, and everything you need.

But my advice is to get a flowed head first, then throttle bodies or twin 40's.
Though you could do that the other way around.

i have already got a f13 gear box
a ported and polished head with bigger valves
the engine is on the bench in bits having new rings and shells etc
got twin 40's in process of being refurbed and i just bought that cam kit ast20k hoping it would fit as it said 1600 astra wich i assumed was the same engine but your saying it doesnt fit :(
next to buy is arb bottom end bolts and i was trying to get some arp main bolts or stud convertion but cant seem to find any
also wanted to get crank and flywheel lightened and balenced
i was purely just asking if the cam would fit or not

If your going on twin 40s look for an ast2 cam and either stand alone management or the dizzy setup from a 1.3 Sr nova.

I have just built a very similar engine as yours, rebuilt bottom end, courtney cs 15 head, ast2 cam and twin 40s and f13 close ratio box.

Its currently being setup by a local carb specialist on his rolling road and should get it back tomorrow.

Forget the idea of ARP main bolts or stud conversion you don't need it. ARP bolts in the rods are a good idea. AST2 is a good cam in a 1300, but probably not warm enough to be noticeable in a 1600, hence my suggestion of the NV063K.
Port match the head & inlet, and head & exhaust manifolds. Don't buy one of those cheap naff 4:1 exhaust manifolds, they are a waste of money and horsepower down the drain.
The only manifold I've found that actually works is the BTB one - which they don't make any more! (unless you pester them lots).
