she never wrote the songs, so the producers made all the money... yes she once had singing talent, but whiny ballads are not what makes money these days....
so she sadly was a commodity, and not necessarily a valuable one..i'm surprised she lasted this long...


i am sad that she is dead, but the bbc news story was very telling... it mentioned her entourage filling a complete hotel floor... so she was surrounded with a lot of hangers on, but probably no proper friends, and died in her bathroom..
