two questions:

1. does the fuel rail and injectors from an x16xe or x16xel fit the c16xe and run fine??

2. is it true that an x16xe lower inlet is needed to run a powerbox inlet (like vx) on the c16xe?

thanks very much

Id say the fuel rail and probably the injectors are the same.

And yeah you need a x16xe lower inlet.

cheers Adam, any advance on 'probably'? :)

For some reason I remember reading somewhere the C16xe injectors were bigger than the X16xe ones.

I also need to know this, my injectors have blocked so in need of 4. Are they the same?

There are two part numbers for the injectors and the rails that apply to the C16Sel, C16XE and X16XE. I don't have access to EPC at the moment to check the difference but the fitment will be the same. I do recall Velos saying the C16 injectors were different but it's hardly likely to matter much.

I'm running the grey injectors (which could be either type, I think they are X16XE) and they are coping at the increased fuel pressure and just maxing out at flat out with ~150bhp

cheers phazer. is it safe to say i could sell them to him saying that they'll fit/work then? dont want to get known as a bad trader

Obviously I can't be 100% as I can't check EPC at the moment but I would expect there to be a chassis break point on the parts numbers. Vauxhall do this a lot and when you check the older part it's been superceded to the new one.

A quick google reveals the fuel rail is used on the X14 also so would bet the C16 is the same. The injectors will certainly fit and work.
