Looks neater if the battery is relocated to the boot and the heater removed and blanked over. Some people leave enough of the passenger side firewall intact in order to retain the standard wiper motor...others remove completely and fit a motor from AX/Corsa etc under the scuttle panel. Personal choice really :thumb:

I haven't taken a pic yet but, mine wqas cut out by previous owner for no reason (its a 1.4). The hasle to get the wipers to work (ended up putting in corsa mechanisim).

Heater bit is coverd but I have the battery in the normal place.

Unless the engine requires removal, personally I would leave it in.

Corsa mech looks nice and lightweight actually, corsa B I assume?

Winner, more bits to raid off Mike's lol

the pedal requires cutting and shortening but thats no biggy, definitely saves a lot of weight and obviously takes out all the slack of the original mech

Yeah already have the corsa pedal bagsied off of Mike's, didn't realise the wiper mech fitted so well though.

can only use it as a single wiper unless you chop it about. i then welded a washer on it and then used a rivnut in the bulkhead

I just put the corsa b mechanisim in and moved it about a bit. The only bit of hard work was the removal of the plastic stuff in the scuttle and bending the skoda wiper arms to the correct angle.
