There was a thread on here about it and how many owners it went through in a matter of months- did VX-Andy not buy it back for the second time?

o and its about 5 owners as alot of people didnt put it in there names
Nice, it would finally have a chance at beating my old 1.2 now lol
Even with a full system, 32/34, cam and 1300 head, it was still slow as shoite

my mate used to own this and was talking to me about it the other day. he said he still has the dyno printout and few reciepts for it.
Someone bought it not too long back, think it mightve been xeDan again, i only hope its had its hidden rot issues sorted, otherwise its a death trap waiting to fail

It looks awful now!!
Poor thing, think its beyond help and such a nice colour!!
Went to go have a butchers... It's not too bad, but needs too much work to justify the price. Shame really.

Without wanting to bump the thread again... I am going to have a look at this tonight. I'm going in with my eyes wide open as I've had a fair few novas in the past (and restored a couple), and know the history of this car. The price is an issue, and I know what I'm happy to pay, however mk1 SR's (or should that be novas in general) are hard to find and the engine sounds half decent as a starting point (although obviously not the 200bhp claimed). Car was seam welded and had a bare metal respray with all the bad areas sorted apparently. May save it and do it properly, poor car deserves that at least! :)
