ive built a few now, always raise the front of the bed up about 1ft ie right behind the cab, and have the beavertailpart start above rear axle. try making it as friendly as poss for lowered cars. no pics im afraid

cant start the beaver that far forward as the spring hanger is about 1.5 feet behind the axel but i see what your saying about raising the front (to cut down the angle on the beaver)

idealy you want the bed level when a vehicle is on it you dont want it too high it will make it too top heavy i think i your case it might be easer to do a 2 angle beaver tail

the amount of people round my way that have made these from pickups and the angle is way too much to get a lowered car on is stupid lol

the amount of cars ive seen being dragged on with the back wheels off the ramp is funny lol

just measure the clearance you would need under a lowered mid size car, as in wheelbase & a measurement of the ground clearance at the centre of the wheelbase. then make up a former out of card and you can check your ramps/bodywork with it. or alternatively, when you see a beavertail about, stop & measure it.
