Removing after market steering boss

As above, how do you take them off?

I had great difficulty with mine, ended up using a blow torch to gently heat it while skelping it with a hammer, destroyed it but the colum was ok,

Not the recommended approach tho lol it had been on the car for 9 years iirc

boiling water poured on the boss is a good trick, but make sure you wrap plenty of towels round it & put a bowl under to catch it.. but it all depends on if you want to keep it after really.
