Had a close one this afternoon coming home from work. I indicated and moved from the outside lane to the inside lane on the A19 at around 70-80 mph just as some collosal bell end in a Focus decided to bimble out of the layby without indication and with no lights on.

I literally missed this car by inches, as I blasted down it's side. I had no time at all to change course, and had I moved over any sooner then I would have hit it without a doubt - in a 106. :/

Use your ****ing mirrors and build up your speed before entering the road please!! I wouldn't care, they had time to build up some speed in the layby seeing as they pulled out at around the middle. Moron!

Been there many times mate, you dont think you can be physically scared any more than you just have been and live, makes you want to go back and smash their faces in for their incompetence doesnt it:mad:

It certainly does John! What put the sh!ts up me the most on this occasion was all of the road spray too, by the time my wipers had cleared the screen again (speed 1) all I could see was the back of this Focus looming towards me. I did think of following the ar$ehole home and giving them a piece of my mind, but seeing the way they drive then I seriously doubt they would even realise what they could have caused. I didn't even have time to blast the horn at the time. lol

Again,i did that, proper exploded at a middle aged woman in the middle of our village after i was a silver rizla away from going into the back of her with both my kids in the car.She claimed i was speeding,i had just pulled out of the petrol station, and she manoevered and THEN indicated, she just said summat snotty and drove off.I really wanted to just uzi her straight in the taco.

you were doing 70 to 80 in the wet with ur wipers running too slow? maybe u should be doing 60 to 70 with ur wipers on full speed maybe then u might have seen them moving, not being funny but uve just openly admitted to driving over the speed limit in the wet with ur wipers on the 1st speed

Speed one isn't intermittent as I assume you are thinking. Speed one means they are constantly moving. As for the 70-80, the clocks are wildly optimistic, and I was just keeping up with the traffic.

Yeah it's quite scary when someone pulls out on you, it's even scarier when it's a big feck off lorry!!

A19 is a scary road, for road spray:eek:, no central crash barriers in places:eek:, idiots crossing the central reservation turning right as they live/work on the other side:eek:, people pulling out where there is no acceleration lane:eek:, traffic backs up in an instant, almost daily crashes.

I use it daily commuting, main advice for the A19 up our way, is never drive at/above the speed limit during busy times otherwise it will end in tears;)

the most dangerous local road in my opinion:(
