A few months ago I changedy previously repaired fuel supply line from the front of tank right upto the bulkhead rubber lines with 8mm copper. I also replaced the rubber flexi to the pressure regulator before the pump.

Now the pump
Sounds like is pumping petrol and air down the lines causing fuel
Pressure issues, if I put a battery live on the pump for a few mins then bleed it out of the rail and start it, it's fine for a while.

Q1-Is there a bleed procedure that I should have followed after stripping the rail?
Q2- my regulator under the back with the pump is rusted to buggery, could that be letting air in, can I ditch it?

I have changed fuel pump relay already

Cheers for Any help.

Yeah the diaphragm damper is just crap really , it's supposed to make the flow of petrol a bit better but I've not had mine for years and never had a prob , aslong as fuel is in the rail the ecu and reg do the job from there lol

Any air leek would drip fuel...
There's no bleeding prosess.
Is the pump working ok? Try a known good pump...
