Concerning headlights and paint code.

Now I'm not too sure on this so thought I'd ask here.

If I was to change my front end to a Mk1, would I be able to use the adjusters from my Mk2 headlight inside the Mk1 headlights??

Or is it the whole interior of the light that moves or the bulb??

I'm sorely tempted to Mark 1 my nova at some point.

So another question, what's the paint code for star silver???

Well the nova it's on, is a H reg mark 2, so whichever one matches that lol

I believe it is the same shade etc as Bazil's GSi

It wouldn't be a direct fit, mk2 only moves the bulb holder internaly, mk1 moves the lens externally, it could be done but no point really

Mk1's have adjustable headlights??? I've never had one with them (granted I've only had two but still)

No you'd mount the motor to the manual adjuster, it would need to be a botch job and would look gash and maybe not even work lol

Mk1s are manual adjustment only afaik.

Although, simply adjust them to the right height and that'll do lol

I thought so. Hence why I was asking if they could be made to adjustable like the mk2's... I'm not happy with it being a mark 2 but seeing as I've just bought some shizzle to repair it, I suppose I'm gonna keep it that way for a while.

EDIT: Just found my Mark 1 wing, and headlights and grill. ¬¬

Means all I need is some paint and another wing and I can do the damn conversion. Typical.
