its 2" and stainless, anyone know what brand it is? there are rectangle plates on the silencers but cant make out what it says, it looks well made whatever it is
just need to figure out the fitment as mines is a mk1
It'll only be the back box thats different surely?
you think its worth heat wrapping it? i have loads left from when i done my manifold
looks like a mk1 magnex to me
yeah a few people have said it looks like a magnex, the tip that comes out the rear box goes down at an angle. dosnt the mk1 systems go off to the side?
is it only the pipe that comes out of the end off the back box that would be different between mk1's and mk2's?
mines has had the tip cut off so i thought i could just mate a tip fit to it
I'd say Magnex too, they tagged plates with their name and the part number on to each piece. The Mk2 systems for anything other that the GSi had tail pipes that bent down from the back box in an S shape to fit under the bumper. Post a better pic of the back box and I'll tell you if it's the same.
Edit: Just seen your post about the tip being missing. On the one I had years back the polished tip on the system above was just crimped onto the pipe (the GSi one that my car has now has a full polished pipe from the back box).
well im gonna buy a 3" inward rolled exhaust tip, hang the exhuast up and see what needs adding to it then weld the tip on
