Basically they have sent me a tax code for a job I haven't worked at for about 2/3 years now. Tried to ring them up and get it sorted yet was on the fcuking phone for ten minutes and didn't get to speak to anyone! ¬¬
Anyone know of any slightly quicker routes to get this sh!t sorted??
ask the person who does the payroll at your work to sort it out..

The issue is I have a tax code for another job. I even got a P45 from that job, so why is the tax office sending me a tax code for there when I haven't worked there for ages?
When you ring up,select the "make a payment" option i'll bet you get somebody quick then!

Theyre always useless at the tax office, try speaking to your company's accountant

Did you give your new company you p45 when you started
Is the tax code for 2012/13?
Have you had a coding notification for your current job?
What tax code did they send you (and whats your current one)?

Yes the tax code they sent me is for 2012/13. It's 66T. Thats the one for the job I don't work at anymore. I have a tax code for my current job.
definitely speak to payroll asap
