well, as you sort of need it for legal reasons, i'd say keep it....

and if you want buckets, then go & get some... its your car, and only your opnion counts

All cars look better without massive white and yellow oblongs bolted to either end but I don't think you have a choice lol

the old bill love fining people for alleged no. plate offences... just put up with a std one, cos it looks less awful than a square one on the lh corner

Leave it where it is as it looks stupid when people take them off and put them lower down or somewhere else on the front, and leave the fixing points on show from where it should have been originally, if you want a minimal look then get a custom smaller plate made, but be prepared to recieve a £30 on the spot fine for incorrectly displaying, everytime the local plod decide to stop you!

I thought i'd go down the square plate but it looked 100% gash so went with a cut down/shortened one which I think looks spot on (just need to get my other front bumper sprayed without the stupid holes and pins):

When I put mine back together after the respray, I thought it looked great with no front plate

So I stuck in to the inside of the screen with little clear sticky dots. So mine is now back on the bumper, but slightly lower than standard. I also had them made in the old Charles Wright font, which is legal, and looks a million times better. I think cars look odd without front plates now.

Not quite, the regulations act on date the plate was made, not the car. Still, its unlikely you'd get nobbled for it on an older car.

I kinda prefer the 'new' font anyways.
