Calibra C20ne Engine

Hi all I just want to ask a quick question, Is a C20NE Bottom end a 8v or a 16v? cheers.

8 valve mate, block is almost identical to a 16v, but internals are different

ok thanks but some lad was arguing with me saying it was a redtop bottom end because it had an automatic tensioner? he said he has had loads of 2.0 8v with only manual tensioners??? who is right? cheers
