has anybody else ever had this problem???????
i did do an oil change about 300 miles ago and did use semi oil???
would this oil be too thin for the car and why its started to leak through the switch?????
it is on a 1200 st 8v engine
i am doing another oil change this week and using good old mineral oil???
does anybody know if this may solve it????
cheers

great thanks, so would a sump plug copper washer do the job?
when i looked at it on my car it seemed to be dripping oil from where the electrical connector was attached and not where it winds in to the engine tho???

it could be a hairline crack in it etc, there only about £5 mate not worth pissing around just replace the switch complete

i was looking on the dreaded ebay and they seem like the oil switch is the same part number on loads of different vauxhall engines, does anybody know if this is true or not?

We sell loads of oil pressure switches for corsas at work they always leak out the middle, theres two different swiches one with thick thread one with thin thread
