I have a gsi engine, and am begining to modify it cams etc but I read that the gearbox on it is a F13 (?) which is designed to take 130 lb/ft torque, as I intend to get the power up I'd imagine the torque would go up too, so I was wondering if its poossible to put the final drive from an F20 / F16CR gear box in a F13? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't take any notice of the ratings. You can safely run in excess of 150lbft of torque through them, and thats from experience.

Did you have to change the clutch?

Nope, mine was just a standard half used clutch that I got with the engine and box.

Unless you turbo a car, when you tune it the torque doesnt usually go up that much as torque is governed mostly by engine capacity, its bhp that goes up when tuning.
Just use the F13,if it goes belly up just stick another one in,they are cheap as chips!
