What are they like?

Going to look at one Saturday morning to replace my (petrol guzzling focus) daily with.

Anything to look out for and what are the engines like?

I beleive Spud has one of these. However I am unsure. I know he has the Mk4 astra but what engine it's got I can't remember lol.

Is it the Eco4 model??

I dont think so, isn't the eco4 engine the 1.7? The SRi is a 2.0.

Yeah the Eco4 is the 1700.

Spuds got a 16v eco.

Just check the usual mk4 faults, rear brakes sticking, rear springs snapping, rust on rear arches etc.

Cant comment on the engine as ive never owned a mk4 dti
