cavalier cv joints

hi, i got some mk2 1.6 cavalier cv joints off a bloke from work to use on a conversion with 22 spline shafts. i counted the splines on the old cavalier driveshafts and theres 26, i take it ive got the wrong ones?? :/

sounds like it. was it the right sort of cav? The CV's need to be from the big block 1.6 8v engine, hence being a sort of big block/small block conversion joint lol

yeah was a 1.6 big block engine.. looks like ill be getting some different ones then! thanks

they should be right then, are you sure you've counted right?

try and fit the driveshafts in it. lol
