1.5td Exhaust

Hi, I am looking for a new exhaust, not to make it louder but just to tidy the car up a bit rather than having a rusty pipe hanging out the back. I am looking for a full system but i cant seem to find much in variation of 1.5td exhausts... Am i right in saying the 1.3sr system is almost identical from the cat back? If not, what can i use?

Nothing id the same from the cat, what you need is something like a straight swop sporty back box with the standard size diameter pipe fitting. They are the same bore as all 1.4-1.6 Novas. Something like an old Peco etc. Make sure it is a mk2 fitment though, (i imagine yours is)

I have a 2 1/4 ashley connected to a custom 2 1/2 down pipe from the turbo back on mine.

Thanks mate, ive sorted a back box out but have decided to replace the whole lot as its starting to look a bit old and sad... It seems while i am at it i may as well remove the old restricting cat to get the turbo spooling quicker too.

Id rather keep it mild steel rather than stainless to keep the noise down.

This down pipe and center section without a cat should fit shouldnt it?
