i've noticed a couple of f13 6 speed boxes on competition car specs recently. does anyone have any info on them?? pics etc please

i am using a mk3 astra wr box with a 3.74 diff, and economy is brilliant, & since my e16se has started performing like it should i'd quite like to use its acceleration a bit more, i'm thinking about refitting my cr cluster, but quite like the top gear & i have thought about putting the wr top into the cr box, it would make for a massive jump from 4th to 5th..

a roadgoing 6speed might be worth looking at, even if it was just to show off at shows with.

Quaife sell the gearkit, it's on their website and not cheap,

Would a Cr cluster and a 3.55 diff work tall top but with the closer ratios?

Slower than a standard CR box, 3.74 is standard on F13 CR GTE/GSI

It's a dog cluster, so wouldn't be suited to a road car!

I sold a secondhand one recently for £1500.

Boffer8 from here has one which he's looking to sell, although I think it's currently in bits.

For track/rally use really, have a look at these prices to get a feel of how expensive as well.

so its not just a big lump of ally and a modified 5th gear shaft?
