Having a problem with 1 in specific,goes passed my house in an mg zr,every single time he dips clutch and hits the rev limiter,
Is it worth phoning police in the hope his lump of fibreglass gets pulled and told to remove exhaust?!?!
Police won't do sod all, but the council might.

See if you can get hold of him and ask him to pack it in, people are always quick to think about or suggest violence or smashing up the cars or something like that, but how many have actually tried asking?

He is going out of his way to do it,im in a village bang in the middle between 2 towns,he drives through every single day,without fail he revs the car,he also goes to a birds house round the corner and makes a noise while going there,happened again about 18:25 i nearly hit the roof,so bloody annoying!!

My brother had similar problems with some one so he asked the guy to stop it, my brother had a flower pot bounced of his head the guy ran off and hid in his house.
Later that day my brother took a pickaxe to every last panel of his chaved up xr2i, problem ended.

I won't snap as i have a business to run,making stupid moves is out of the question for me........few year back maybe! I have phoned the police this morning they will be in touch,the asshole went through where i live 'village' about half 1am this morning making 1 hell of a noise,i don't mind loud exhausts etc,but this wasp in a milk bottle is doing my head in!!

Thats true, unless he damages you/your property and you can prove it; but as said the council should be able to do something re: the noise.
Make logs, dates/times of disturbances, talk to other residents as well (as if he's p!ssing you off with the noise, he's no doubt getting everyone else's back up). Then contact the council and go from there.
have you ever considered putting his car up on blocks......? the trick is to support it on the bottom arm just touching the ground so when they sit in it, the suspension goes down, but the wheels go up
i once did my step dads car, and he had it in top on the drive revving the knackers off it thinking the gearbox had gone... i had to go & stop him cos if it had fell off the blocks, it would have looked like a plane crash

And **** sugar, the only time thats ever affected me was when some prick hopped the fence and put it in my mini crosser. And even then upon full engine teardown the only damage was a sticky float and clogged main jet. Washing up liquids where its at, makes the fuel gel up. Add dope (model aircraft fans will know what im on about) a little ceulose thinners and a bit of washing up liquid to get a chewing gum like texture. Id bet that builders foam may well **** with the refuelling process somewhat though.

You could do what I did once and try a little reverse psychology on the old bill. Where do I start?
Once upon a time I had some little chav bump into my brand new car in a carpark and he cracked the front bumper. Now as I was about 'have a word' his mum turned up and promised to pay for the repairs. I reluctantly agreed as we've all been young and we all know how much insurance rockets after a claim. So after some hassle I got my cash out of them.
Part II: A few weeks later said little chav his mate and his mummy lol knock on my door f'ing and jeff'ing about the fact I hadn't got said car fixed. (been busy) Threatening to 'smash' my car etc etc. After I chased them off I went inside to find my two young kids very much upset about the carry on they'd heard.
Part III: So to cover myself if anything happened I rang the local rozzer shop and said along the lines of... "....blah blah two 'hooded youths' blah....threatening behaviour....kids upset..." to which they said they'd send someone round when they could. So I added "what if they come back?" they said "ring 999" now this is the important bit ;) I replied "Sorry if they come back I will defend my wife my kids and my property how I see fit and I'm telling you now I wont hold back when it comes to my family you'll be arresting me afterwards and I'm logging this call and holding you lot responsible for not acting on my call for help."
Part IV: Wallop within 20 minutes two coppers landed and within 24hrs all three had been visited by two police vans full of coppers for threatening behaviour and told in no uncertain terms any further contact with me in any shape or form means arrest.
Never heard a peep since.:thumb:

You keep banging on about this "high end clientele" you have,so you would you do it if you had just "lower end clientele"??!,thats a bigger mistake than getting on the wrong side of the law right there!-treat all customers the same-big or small! Thats ABC in business my friend is that.

By that i mean i work on expensive cars,none of them are going to be on a Nova forum so it dosn't really matter what i refer to them as,nor is it any of your business.... that is what they are so that is what i call them,no less no more!! What i meant was if i was stacking shelves in Tesco i wouldn't hesistate to kick the **** into the little ****,but in my line of work it is never going to happen,which means i value my clients.....i was explaining the reason why i can't just knock the little turd out,there is no more or less to the situation,

He is still doing it,phoned the police 4+ times......not interested!

this is dragging on now why keep waiting the police time, I hope you not calling 999 like a complete noob and if you are that's more then likely the reason there not interested, and if they refuse to do anything it properly because the guy isn't breaking the law

Some fairly qualified people work in tescos I mean people go to uni for years then can't get a Job so have to take one in telco .

A lad me and Andy both know, used to be an insurance assessor at a fairly big local bodyshop, he was made redundant a few years back and took a job stacking shelves at tesco, he is still there and is on his way to being management, he was over £500 a month better off working for tesco when he started, than he was working for 'Minstergate' :eek:
You get varying extra hourly rate for working other departments that arent your own, and some stupid rate for bank holidays and overtime, i hardly ever see him now as he works any and all overtime that comes up, he is properly loaded now though!

thing is though, tesco RARELY employ you full time. i was lucky and managed to wangle 2 contracts worth of hours (21hrs). only management and team leaders are. its how they get around a huge chunk of business tax. they do pay very good though.
