was asked by my mate if i would polish the outer lips off his AC Schnitzer 17" splits...and this is what he gave me :tard:

after an entire hour (mostly drinking tea and looking at the lip) it looked like this

good old nitromors

then after an hour and a half going through the grades 120-400 dry and wet 600 followed by an autosol on a dremel i got this.

tbh i would rather have gone all the way up to wet 1200 or 1500 but my mate was chuffed with this finish

ive now got 2 other people want sets done haha

That's a very impressive result. Tell him to get some wax or sealant on them though or you'll be doing them every month! lol

they are being done to be sold. so not his problem haha, will say though, the other sets ive got to do i might use some of my wax on them.

2nd one needs a bit more sanding, my mate decided to wire wheel it a bit first lol.

the 3rd and 4th are unpainted but have a bit of lacquer peel. so he gave me the worst 2 to start with :d

all finished :d and in return i got myself a nice E30 2.5 M20 engine, gearbox and prop for my efforts :p (yes the engine doesnt exactly run but its better than nout)

gotta do a bit of welding as well but only a few patches :d another engine to rebuild :/ great lol
