See if you can record a short audio clip about 10-20 seconds long.

Include what engine spec u have and what exhaust system u have.

It would be quite interesting to hear the differences.

Try to keep file sizes below 500kb.

What did you use to record it and how did you upload it. I aint got a clue ref that sort of stuff!

Love the noise mine makes when you rev it - the carb sucks air and sounds well smart - whistles at you in a turboish kind of way!

I used a bog standard computer Microphone (the cheap stick on a stand type ones).

then i recorded it onto minidisc then use the Line-in on my PC to record it (Using windows sound recorder).

If you want u can mail me the sound file and i'll upload it onto the website i got at yahoo for everyone to hear.

That was with a cold engine. Sounds a bit better when the engine is warm, i'll try do another tomo.

My car engine was recorded using a DAT recorder by the sound engineer at work for the Starsky & Hutch game. Before you ask, no it wasn't to be used as the sound of a meaty V8, but more of a general background noise for other traffic. I don't think it was used in the end. I'll try and find a recording of it.
