The turbo does absorb quite a bit of noise actually - but I would still go for a two box system - they can get a bit boomy on long motorway runs.

I have a 2.75" pipe system with a stainless calibra scorpion back box, its fine on the road for a short run, but its to loud for a track day. I am going to try and change to a 2 box system when i get time.

My nova let is running full 3 inch side exit exhaust with a middle box but no back box and that's not too loud but sounds unbelievable

My saloon was 2.5 straight to back box and have had it on the let and an xe and with the let it was as quiet as my xe on a 2 box 2.25 system can get annoying on long journeys but meh I just turned the stereo up lol
