Its annoyin...but where is it??

Right the 2.0 16v is on the road now and running sweet as a nut. One small problem though.....

There is a ticking coming from in behind the drivers dash sum where, could be the pedal box area. Its only under load i.e when u put the power in, and if u go along at a constant speed it wont do it. Sounds like the speedo is ticking or something, but if it was that it would be constant! Isnt the clutch cause it would do that when it was dipped!

Its well annoyin now, n e ideas people? n e 1 else had the same? I cant find the bugger! :x

is the speedo cable pushed into the clocks properly? (if u have normal clocks).

check your trip counter hasn't jammed, mine did it and clicked every 10th of a mile as the dial tried to go round

same prob with my gte trip counter used 2 click like hell unless i reset it just right

Have the same problem with both my trip counter and my digi dash. Nearly went insane hearing that clicking from my digidash when my stereo didnt work!

mine did that too, just fiddle around with the reset button thing and see if that helps
