Will a 1.3sr (F reg with the twin choke carbs) with a full Ashley zorst, and a pipercross filter beat an XR2? The engine will be in good running order, with no misfires or ill running problems?

YES, my 1.3 astra used to piss all over XR2s.

I know a lad who used to have a C reg XR2 and that was very quick it would of leathered the 1.3 SR I used to have!

u'll have to be carefull theres some quick ones out there, the one nova boy is on about is very quick.

It will do m8, easy, u may have probs over 80mph!!! But below that its easy!! However dont go for modded XR2i's!!!
