From what I read on tht freelander site it seems the desil engine is BMW made not rover?

From what I read on tht freelander site it seems the desil engine is BMW made not rover? TD4 are bmw engines. the l series (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rover_L-Series_engine) is a rover engine.

but on another note it was fuel leak washing the old oil off the drip tray and out the holes. replaces some low presser injector feed pipes and it all sorted runs alot smother to now
