Is it possible to do this with the special tools that you can hire/buy ?

Or deffo going to break the paint and need spraying ?

These kits you can get, easy to use ? Any one used them before ?

I need to take it to have some other bodywork bits done anyway so not a problem if it is a spray job only, just exploring all the options

Maybe contact archenemy Edd, I think Simps has used them in the past ROLLME (http://www.archenemy.co.uk/)

Warm arch lips up does help, but with the shape ofnthe arch, cracking paint is all most a sert sadly.

Think I will just get them done and a bit of paint when I have the other bits done then

With the wheels I have I think I would need them done to run 185 tyres which I want to do at some point

Roll flat, gently pull by hand, seal and re paint is the best way.

I've pulled mine a few times..

My fiberglass wings don't have any lips lol

Also they are easy to trim if you need to make more clearence for your wheels.

I've never seen a kit used/in the flesh only in photos, don't they recommend you warm the paint with a hot air gun to help flex the paint?

Worst case would be you'd need to repaint.

Just buy some wheels that fit Ed;)

I watched two guys at Billing about 4years ago swapping wheels, then rolling the rear arches on his Nova (to fit the swapped 17"s) with a breaker bar doing the same... They where totally funked after.

I did a Astra GTE's rear arches years ago with a breaker bar with a new paper wrapped around it.. Worked, but cracked all the paint.

^ that tool looks sketchy as, looks like it would ripple the hell out of your arch.

I remember seeing a guide on a VW/BMW forums on how to make one of them arch rollers form an old jack (like a nova one) and a brake disk and roller skate wheel, but dont have it saved on this pc, as it actually had a guide with technical drawings etc..

Could work really well for also flaring the arches no? as i would need to flare mine on the loon for future plans..
