the wiring on my car was all cut up by previous owners

the sender for the fuel has the blue and brown wires.

There are wires from the car just above but, they are black and red, are these the right ones or will i blow myself up!

It was originally a spi engine and tank.http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af5/69marc/Photo295.jpg

Black and red would be fuel pump surely if it was spi

Thanks, I don't know about wiring cars but suspected this would be wrong?

Is there any simple way of wiring this gauge up?

There should be wires some where for it, it would be best to find where those black and red ones come from, if it is pump wires they may still be live when the ignition is on lol

there are what looks like hundreds (probably in the teens though) of wires all cut at the bit below the parcel shelf, they have then done some wiring up of things but, it's a bit of a mess, I may stick with my screwdriver technique!

I have taken each cut wire in the car and put tape over the end, the first time i put a battery on it I was poooping myself.
