over sized block 1650 l+b bottom end . b+ head with bronze valve guides double valve springs and solid lifters on a kent nv083 cam and pulley on 45 webers be nice to here it running im trying to get it finished this summer ,im waiting for a proper straight cut box at the right money

not sure chap they came from rally design off my mates astra race car they just fit under the 15 inch compromotives had some on my old rally nova few years ago good calipers and not silly money

Yea Ive already got the Wilwood Powerlite calipers just need to sort out some discs & get them fitted. Ive got V6 280mm discs on at present but at 24mm wide the wilwoods dont like them lol

paul exon race engines from leicester done my engine hopefully 160 + bhp im just going to put the old black cap type dizzy in it for now and get the thing running but i no it wood be much better with a mapped ecu we will see doesnt seem that cheap then get it mapped more money?lol

hi can any one tell me on the webber manifold ive got no coolant temp switch is it just a normal tread ,as the tread looks like a fine tread ? cheers

got the nova running which has spurred me on a bit so i treated it to a nice gearbox from colin smith a qualife s/cut with a atb diff and 4.1 cwp .will put some more pics on soon

nice engine build there chap ,you have got oversized pistons there which is good if your after bhp you could really do with a vernier cam pulley on there . i must say thats a nice engine to buy got some nice bits there , iwill keep an eye on this

got the throttle cables and fuel regulator plumed in , the fuel pump is going to be put in a sealed alloy box . the front hubs which are for the large astra c.v will be for sale soon as im running f13 box with standard gte shafts if any one intrested

it sounds nice cant beat the sound of twin webbers on a magnex s/s system hope to get the box in soon bit cold in the garage at the mo lol

got the old box out today ready for the qualife s/c and lsd diff stripped the old hubs off as my diff runs standard shafts so going standard hubs now , ive just started cleaning the box before i put it in .ran out of time this afternoon the wife found me in the garage lol!

Its Looking good I like the Cage :thumb:. But if your going to run it in the up to 1.6 class you should not go a round telling every one it's a 1650cc.:d

i suppose your right there ,but when everyones running 16v 1.6 at 200 bhp dont think they will notice 160 bhp 8v do you !old school nova 8v on carbs sounds great

they will if they see it on forums/net bud, or if your doing well or do happen to win, people can get very upset and ask you to strip it down to check bore and stroke

bit of an update was thinking about selling it has i dont seem to have any time to work on it ,but having spents thousands of pounds on it . so im getting on with it again got it running fuel pump in with alloy box masterswitch and pump panel in fuel lines in and the wirings in just moved onto gear linkage and stick now

shoulnt you run the fuel lines down the center ofthe car?

the tunnel gets very hot i found from the exhaust so decided to run down the inner sill ,which is behind the roll cage
