no visable access at all, was scratching my head and just about to go off and cry, and spotted a row of bolts under the weather seal on the bottom of the door
30 bolts later, and hey presto!

Would you f*cking believe it? The door skin is bolted on, never seen anything as mad in my life  what a dirty, underhand, shabby nazi trick lol

Thank f*ck for Nova's, with their proper doors lol

Never seen that before? lol I think it's awesome myself, great access for jobs like you're doing, crappy water trap though lol

All the panels are bolt on iirc. Good idea IMO as you dont have to take all the interior trim of and end up with rattles & creaks after. Also you get better access from outside.
Pity the Mk6 isn't built as well as the Mk5

Never seen that lol. Looks pretty good, if you get a massive dent in the door you could just buy a skin thats colour coded

Can you you not remember the Hampster on Top Gear driving a mk5 through a golf driving range whilst being pelted with balls. He explained then that all the panels were easily replaceable

Nice idea if you ever neeed to replace the door skin, cheap and easy to do.

But propably a pain in the bottom to do everything else, such as change a window regulator etc..

LIKE A GOLF ? :tard:

It's a proper good idea IMHO! Door skin can be had off in a couple of mins too. No stu the 3b passat is on a cassette like the mk4 golf

Aye I agree it's a pretty good idea in terms of panel replacement, and it certainly made changing the reg a piece of p*ss once I had it figured out.
Nova sport, you still need to remove the interior trim as the motor is bolted through the door frame to the reg.

I think thats a great idea tbh, would certainly make pinging dents out easier. Should also make replacement panels cheaper, as they're a simpler shape..?
