There appears to be a robotic octopus in the engine bay lol

running a rather large turbo to be fair too, my mate reckons hes looking into the fuelling side of it see what he can do

So is the slight kink in the 1st port to let strain off that cylinder but then making the other 3 more efficient then?

MK999 I need you theory on this please.

Someone ran out of long smooth 90 bends?

edit: Actually its not even close to equal length either, 1/2 are longer and the furthest from the turbo, it's been made with lots of bends it to look pretty I guess lol

lol that's that then.

Its not just #1, they all seem to have kinks, albeit closer to the ports and facing upwards.

If you want fruity shaped manifolds, try looking at MR2 turbo ones. Some of the aftermarket designs for those are mental lol

i agree they all should be the same length for each port but reports from it are supposedly good

But whats the reason for doing it, not likely I'll be doing it mind but still interested.

Because it's a large bore and TD's love a (slightly more) free flowing exhaust (than standard), I never worked out why tbh as petrol will expel a higher volume of gases but do fine on smaller systems until silly BHP. Although if he's running mega psi through it on a standard turbo it will probably be so far out of it's efficiency range it's hitting petrol heat lol

It's not a patch on Big's manifold though is it lol

As above, He will be running a bigger turbo Like i intend to, the standard ones are good to and extent. But when you get good power they get hot!!

You will end up keeping the cav of dreams at this rate instead of breaking it lol

I never tire of BTCC'ing that.

Did he complete his banana manifold project?
