Windscreen rubber cleaning/buying

Hi all, I need to change the windscreen in my Nova and was thinkin about getting a new rubber, anyone know where they can still be bought? (I rang the local vaux dealer and was told they can't get em anymore) or alternatively anyone know a good way of cleaning the old mastic off the rubber without damaging it? I was thinking of soaking in solvent but most I can think of may well affect the rubber. Also, the lad on the phone at vaux said he reckons there's a place called HMS warehouse or something that bought up loads of old vaux stock before they stopped producing? Anyone ever heard of it? Said he got a full Corsa GSI kit for £110 delivered? Was he dreaming?

i got one from a windscreen company, had a new screen too. was 19pound plus vat for the rubber. give some local ones a call and see what they say.

Thanks, I spose that makes sense! Though the only company I spoke to quoted 170 for a new screen fitted but they couldn't supply a rubber!?
