theres hundreds of those all over the UK, they were put in so that in the event of the ruskies getting silly military muppets would sit down those and measure the radiation etc (not fun lol)

I used to work with a guy who also knew the whereabouts of most, he also got arrested trying to get into the royal bunker in Wiltshire.

When we were working in the New Forest he used to say where they were.

reminds me of a time when me and me m8's got trapped in one of them bunkers as kids by some *big lads*

There was about 5 of us and we were about 8 - gave them loads of cheek - as you do when you are kids and ran to uour secret den - unfortunately they tracked us down and locked us in for hours!

we were fairly ok though - had TONS of sweets and torches

Told ghost stories and how they were gonna come back and kill us (to wind up the weedy ones) - no I wasnt one of them.

Put paid to our den though - we had to agree that if they were to let us out we had to nominate 2 of us to get wedgies (and a kickin) - we drew straws.

My arse aint been the same since!

theres loads of websites with the locations of the "known" ones, and some speculation as to the whereabouts of others (honest i dont know where they are)

the one near chelmsford is quite cool, its a tourist attraction now and the sign is on many joke emails. well worth a visit.
