I have a sony 50*4 cd headunit but have now replaced it with a MD/CD sony explod one.

How do i put songs onto MD, i have nero burning software and cdwriter if this helps???

can i just wire up a cd changer to the MD player?

Why is the name MD/CD when theres no cd slot. Does this mean i can wire up a cd changer.

Sorry for newb questions, never had a MD player b4.

cheers

rite before you get a barage of shitte

(and be honoured for this lol)

MD has all the benefits of tapes (and to an extend new CDRW technology with the quality of CD's (or better in some cases)

you need an MD recorder (or buy pre recorded) to record your own music to them, son y tend to do the better personal units that can be connected via usb to your pc (faster recording)

some midi hifi's etc come with md and cd capabilies (these are good because you can double/triple speed record).

in my case i use my pc (with a digital optical output) to souce the signal to my MD recorder (which is nearly 5 years old lmao)

its v good, i have a sony MD player (the CD bit is saying you can use a CD changer or Md changer if you desire)

hope this helps

you can get portable MD recorders like a walkman or stand alones for you hi-fi. You will be best off recording onto MD rather than buying ones done.
