Repost yes, but just to add, half moon style D locks are very easy to remove.

A car that was stolen from me & recovered in 2004, they left the busted D lock in the car (tatchem approved one aswell!), gave me a good chance to see how they'd broke it off the wheel... Suprising to say the least.
