1.3 Stat

Another quick one as the Haynes bible is a bit vague...

Does the housing need to be changed together with the stat or can the stat be removed and replaced seperately?

I'm guessing the cambelt doesn't need to be removed as Haynes don't say it.

you will need to take the cambelt off & undo the cam cover to get decent access to it

Can it be done without removing? It says nothing like this in the Haynes. Only says to remove the cambelt cover to gain access and not the belt.
