he says he had a relay removed, how many thieves are going to bother checking relays and such for an old astra. I wonder if had posted on theforum how he imobilises his car and it came round and bit him in the ass.

You wouldn't try and start the car atleast till you're down the road so no one would grow suspicious. Most people would just break the steering lock and then tow it someone.

will look a whole lot more suspicious pushing a car down the road then towing it.

When I was at uni, we used to spend some evenings playing xbox and drinking... One night at about 1am we were walking home from my mates house, when 2 lads shouted at us, "oi mush, give us a push..." I started giggling, bear in mind we were in Swansea, and the accent etc... My mate dragged me over, and we gave them a push.

Only to find out the next day, that it was my mate's house mate's car and it was stolen lol Luckily it was a 1.4 nissan sunny, running on 3 cylinders and they caught the 2 lads.

Thats how I know what some thieves will do...

It's not mine. But a fellow member over on mk1oc. It's a 1.4 turbo. He never posted about the relay.
