Hi I've got the wide arches for my car and I'm now wondering what I need to to pull the front wheels out 50mm to suit. I no I need new bottom arms and ball joint and tie bars on the rack. I have a let with a 6speed in it. Do I need longer shafts. Any info will help Thanx.
you could put zero offset rims on, like Dan did on his, but then you might need arms like popeye to steer it.
but you will definitely need longer shafts for a wide track setup

Thought that. Just wondered if anyone had any cause I didnt want try and mess it up.
As for drive shafts, just measure Astra or calibra/cav shafts and move your hub out to suit, the old kits you used to get used standard lenght Astra/cally/cav shafts,
The rears are just moved out by a 50mm spacer between the hub and axle

I've got the bottom arms and tie bars and bigger rack on way off dan-f and bigger shafts. The back axel not a prob. Just need these blocks. If these shafts I've ordered don't fit I'll try the cav/astra type. Cheers
