Basically, would just like to know if the standard vauxhall nova air filter housing would fit over twin 40 carbs, not fussed on mounts as thats not in the question, but basically could it cover the whole twin carbs completely?

But the inlets on a pair of 40's arent at the TOP of the carb like a standard version. They are at the back of the things facing the bulkhead......

ok ill re-phrase the question, would it have enough clearance over the carbs, im not fussed about another other factors :)

Not if even if satan was ice skating.

Could you make it fit, yes, but it'd be a lot of work for not a lot of gain. Why can't you use conventional 40 filters?

i want a standardish look. the twin 40's are on now and i have an irmsher airbox on at the moment too, but kind of defeats the object of stealth.
