Just wondering if there are different pressure pumps. I've a converted 16 16v that seems to be starving on high revs and load and I'm NE'ing another Corsa at the minute, originally a 1.4 Sport but I'm worried the pump wont be up to the task.

there are 2, the one for mpi & the one for spi

is there an inline filter that needs swapping?

Its not the filter anyway. The wee machine flys but underload in high revs almost sounds like its on the limiter and it just wont pull any harder. I reckon the pump is the only thing thats letting me down.

I'm gonna take a guess and say that all MPI pumps put out the same pressure?

Go scrapers and get a pump off a dawoo nexia or similar that's mpi they run walbroo 255 intank pumps should solve the problem

So just solder the pump in place then? Were they all MPi?

Well we've got dozens of 1.4 16v Astras broken at work but I'm worried about the pressure not being enough for the 2.0.

Should be fine 1.4 nova pumps were same as 1.6 and they run xe's fine I know it's an external pump as opposed to an intank bit flow rates must be similar never heard of anyone having a problem with a standard engine
