gear stick options [Archive] - Performance Nova Group

i have a c20xe trackcar, the gear stick throw is massive, is there any sort of aftermarket quick shift available, find them for every thing else apart from novas, i read the article about the shortend linkage is this the only option?

Cut the actually leaver down and fit a corsa gear linkage :)

Fair enough so just chop it down and fit a new gear linkage, have seen where they put a calibra setup in and get rid of the floor pan is this only for the exhaust?

If you want to get quite involved you can also do that and run the lever direct to the box via the passenger footwell, which removes all the slop from the plastic bushes.

Depends how many times you've gone for a gear and found the porridge in the mechanism didn't slop the right way, personally I'll be looking into it on mine but then i'm a fussy ******* like that it being sloppy would annoy me even if it did work fine, plus it could look quite sexy lol

if you do the cav/cally mod you want to keep you eye open for a b&m short shifter then i got one i my cav ans its wicked no more sloppy gears etc
