Is there a good way to remove the plastic rain gutter trim from the roof with out damaging it ?.
Also how wide is the pin strip around the bumpers and low 1/4 black trim (normally in red) ?.
Thanks :thumb:

Remove the gutter strip with care, perferably when it's warm or use a hairdryer or something similar, peel it off from the bottom, starting at one end working towards the other;)

Pin stripe is 9.5mm iirc, it certainly is on the early bumpers:)

Are you specifically after 6J rims, would have thought 5.5J x 14" vaux/Opel alloys would be easy to obtain? e.g. astra mk2 GTE/GSi teardrops are pretty strong for rallying?

Thanks Royston, 6J would be better for the size tyre I will be using but if I have problems getting them then yes 5.5J

Mk2 pinstripe is 12mm iirc & as Royston says, the mk1 is 9.5mm

You need to take care whilst removing them unlike what i did the other day and snap one of them lol

6j14 was more common on mk2/3 cavalier (in foreign, ascona c or vectra a) and mk1/2 astra, (kadett d/e)
