what would be the best oil for a c20xe rebuilt engine?

how many hours after running should i change it?

what would be the best way to run the engine in? the car cant go on the road (motorsport use) so will have to run the engine in the shead

i use millers competition running in oil, people have different views on running in, i tend to run engines in on mates rolling road as quick and easy and by the time they have finished its ran in. but generally, id do abour 250miles up to about 3500rpm, various loads, dont idle too long or go on long motorway trips, use the gears and lots of engine breaking, then say every 75-100miles start increasing 1k rpm, found millers oil very good

ok i will see if my local motor factors have it in. also what should the oil pressure be at? i am going to fit a guage before i start it to check that it has pressure.

cold it should shot up to about 65-70psi, on hot idle ideally want about 22psi when its hot hot. there are some pointers on the net that for every 1k revs you gain 10psi up the scale. but obv at 1k rpm 10psi isnt enough
