im going to get a engine on friday i have to take it out myself it comes with the gear box is there any other things i should take and do i just cut the loom or unplug it.the engines in a gte but came from a l reg calibra the guy doesent no the milage but it runs sweet no tapping ect ?200.should i get it even though i dont no the milage cheers ...tony...

if the engine is in a nova already it helps. bring the full engine loom back to the ecu. disconect the altenator etc wiring from the Nova loom (to the right of the inlet manifold) disconect the wiring to the coil.
bring the engine mounts.
for 200 with box its worth it even if its not 100%

cheers brian dident mention its out ov a astra do i take the astra coil to or is the nova 1 fine and where is the ecu located on the astra cheers ...tony...

ecu is just near the accelerator pedal on a mk2 astra gte, you need the coil out of the donor car too. dont forget also to take the exhaust manifold and the ecu.
try and get the brakes too if you're putting it in a nova, you will need them.
