Got a spare white plug after rebuilding top end on my engine.

For life of me cant find the location for it?

It's the clip in type, with the little metal retaining clip around it.

Dont have a pic right now as it's getting dark but if anyone has encyclopedic knowledge and can let me know what it's for would be massive help :thumb:

on mine, the only white 2 pin plug is for the CTS, under the dizzy, it has a brown & a brown/white wire.

Maybe I have managed to plug the wrong one in.

White one was indeed coolant temp sensors. Still no use for the black one but car's running anyway. Rep for mowgli

*You must spread some rep around before giving it to mowgli again*

Ive seen that some engines have a sensor where the temp sender is (next to the gearbox and under the inlet manifold) and I'm sure its for that. One of my old engines had it and others didnt and if memory serves I never noticed any negative effects from not having it plugged in.
