OK, as you probably (didn't) know i've just got a Fiesta Finesse N-reg. Now stop laughing and help me! Basically i only got one key with it and it just snapped, just my luck. I went to the Ford place and they said that as i didn't have a red key to make it work with my immobiliser they would do me a three key set and programme it for ?120.

Only thing is, my locks are pretty shot as well (not opening smoothly or all the time) so what would be the best way to do this? I was even considering delocking the doors and the boot then i could just get a key made for the ignition (the lock on which is fine) but then i realised i'd have to get a the three keys anyway and it would just be extra cost...

What would you suggest?

you got it then!
try goin back to the old owner/s to find the keys (if ford garage then haggle like tell them they should have supplied some for this reason & gat arsey)
otherwise think you is gonna have to bite the bullit get new keys & strip the locks down so they work

yeah i got it mate i'll bring it by sometime so you can take a look - its not bad, locks just pissing me off now! how do you strip them? paying wouldn't be THAT bad its just the fact the drivers door is stiff and dodgy... J
