Yep.

Twice infact. Dont for one minute just assume it'll be found in one piece though! And I hope for your sake it was properly insured.

Keep your eyes out on eBay/free ad papers & on the local chavvy boy racers for your wheels, engine parts etc etc.

Both of mine ended up stripped. One partially, the other pretty much entirely.

Or you might get semi lucky and have it ragged to death for a week or two....

If you do get it back keep the ecu in the house takes less than 30 seconds to remove and unless they tow it it's going no were

My let one is alway out the car when I'm leaving it and when that's not possible in town etc I remove the king lead from the coil to dizzy and take that with me, but if some one wants it enough they will take it no mater what you do

matt_vaughan
25-12-11, 10:55 PM
blue_peg I used to take the king lead from my old 1.2. safest way to secure it when leaving it overnight in town centres etc. became a pain in bad weather though.

Ring up local impound garages, sometimes can take 3 weeks from when its found to the police letting you know its found, usually if its been burnt out it takes longer to get details from the chassis number. Really hope it gets found in one piece dude ill keep an eye open round here
