OK, there is a tool but its not really needed. Bolt on the flywheel and torque it up. Now if you use a 1/2" extension bar to align the clutch hole and bolt up the clutch plate. As long as you get it pretty close when you fit the gearbox it'll line up properly the first time you press the clutch pedal.

If you're talking about changing the clutch in the car then you will need the main driveshaft removel tool. Not sure where you get these from as my mate has one I borrow. It allows you to retract the shaft into the G/box and the old clutch drops out, you need to follow the instructions tho :D

right you dont need a clutch allignment tool

Lighty bolt the pressure plate on to flywheel with clutch inbetween!
Use a 1/2 extension bar (or sonething the right size) to stop the cluch plate falling out
When it is approximate place start doing up slowly ...

THEN

at 3 places around the pressure plate u will be able to feel the outside of the clutch plate.... if you feel the same amout of cluch plate in all 3 areas of the prresuurs plate its gotta be bang on inline!

I doiubt you wwill understand this
Im still piseed and dunno half of wot im doing

But its easy enough

ive never used one.

all you need to do is fir the clutch assembly to the flywheel and then push the input shaft back into its location, a bit of a wiggle etc and your sorted :)

the alighment tools are only really needed for cars with naff all access to the clutch

cambride is right, just catch all of the pressure plate bolts onto the flywheel (obviously making sure that the clutch plate is in between) then leave them all slack, push the input shaft back through so that its in deep enough to get the circlip back on the outside casing, do all the pressure plate bolts up, and bobs ur uncle!
